Ricky Williams to the CFL

Hey all

I decided I wanted to make a poll out of this because I'm interested what everyone thinks of it. As most of you sports fans know, especially football and maybe some futbol, ones know: Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams was suspended by the NFL for violating the league's drug policy...again. However, instead of taking the year off, Williams signed with the Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts for this year. I want to know what YOU think of the entire thing. Do you agree or disagree with Williams' decision to play in the CFL this year and, if you can, post the reasoning for your agreeal or disagreeal.

It's only been about a week, not even, since the signing and already it's made big headlines. Hope to hear from you all.

I think he'd be happier in Canada so I believe that he made the right choice.

If he wants to play in Canada let him play there. He will get off the dope and come back to the NFL(if anybody will sign him) as soon as he plays a year for less money in Toronto in a league that gets very little media attention in the USA.

I agree with both of you, Val and John. Despite the fact that he is still under contract with Miami, I think he made the right decision and the CFL fans should get a real treat. Equating Williams with a longer and wider field can mean great things! 🙂
