Lol, reading the stuff you mention it's like you're reading my mind almost. The gray was a lot more dominant at first until I fixed it, because it did look boring. At first her hair, her skirt and the monster's hair were different shades of the same gray. I added blue to her hair and skirt and red to the monster's hair to make it less dull.
Thanks for the input. I always get a kick out of when people analyze my work.
