according to the new series Pokemon Chronicles, the "girl from Pokemon CRYSTAL (you said Sapphire. that's wrong)" is named "Marina" for the English market.
Personally, i prefer the manga series Pokemon Adventures over the pokemon anime. it was much darker and most closley resembled the Game Boy games. in fact, they so closely resembled the games that the main characters were all named after their respective game cartridges: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, etc. Marina would of course be "Crystal".
