I have to say with great sadness that I am not able to make it after all. I am so bummed! I forgot that there is a birthday gathering fthat weekend or a very good friend who is terminally ill and since this is quite possibly his last birthday, I need to be there. Hopefully, this won't be the last gathering!

Your not the odd man out. I don't know everyone that is coming. To be honest, I am coming but scared to death. Well shouldn't say death but I am very nervous. None of us knew each other until we meet at one munch or gathering at one time or another. We all were the odd ppl out. You will find we are a freidly group of ppl and your going to have a blast. You can come and be the odd person out with me.

Iceman - yes, a few of us know each other. But, not everyone here knows everyone else, and the way we got to know each other in the first place is by getting out and going to one of these events. You certainly will not be the odd man out and, knowing most of the folks who are going to be there, I can tell you that it is a welcoming crowd.

This would be a good event for you to stick your toe in the water, so to speak. You can come to the munch and have a beer and/or burger with us, and get to know everyone. If you feel comfortable enough, you can then join us as we go to the SINS Center (although you need to register in advance for SINS). And, as far as these types of clubs go, SINS is also a welcoming environment.

I understand your trepidation in coming, but as most people who attend these type of events can tell you, you will very shortly feel comfortable and at home with everyone since we all have something in common - tickling. It is cool to let your hair down and chat about it with others.
