Say a prayer for Venray

NOTE: For those finding this late, read the updates and Ray's posts. He's doing well.

I talked with Tracy this morning. Ray is sitting in a hospital bed awaiting surgery after a freak accident at work this morning. I'll let him fill in any details he wants to share. But, he broke both ankles and will be laid up for a while. So, please send your prayers and good thoughts his way.

It's probably not a good idea to try to contact him today. They have him pretty doped up to control the pain while they wait for a surgeon to come in this afternoon to repair the damage. If it's late afternoon, which it looks as though it will be, they'll likely keep him the night. I'm sure he'd enjoy a bunch of goofy stuff to laugh at once he's home. So, let's fill this thread with all sorts of silliness for him to enjoy.

As much as I enjoy being funny, I am honestly way to broken up right now to be as funny as I know Ray would want me to be. I got my wake-up call from Tracy and heard the news.
Not the way I pictured my trip ending, not the way at all.

Damn it is kind of hard to say anything now, and I hate that this happened to to one of my best friends.

I came home from the hospital for a bit to fill my Mother-in-Law in on the latest.. and to pm Mistress Aura because we planned to interview her on the show tonite and for obvious reasons will need to cancel.. and to get some warmer clothes because they keep that place freezing!

Ray will probably be embarrassed about this thread but we thank you for the good wishes all the same. I am heading back to the hospital now, I'll share your thoughts with him.. Thank you again!
