DB was my first too. Together with Saint Saiya (Chevaliers du Zodiaque in French) and Goldorak. I watched them on a French channel. (And as a small didn't understand much of what was said)
Than DBZ came and I was drawn into it.
Know the story etc of DBGT but never saw it.
