Once again Teeva decided to partake in her favorite holiday tradition.... Peeking at her presents early! On Christmas Eves at the Podarian Palace, Teeva waits until dark when everyone has gone to sleep to sneak into the main celebration chamber to take a peek at her presents by carefully opening them to see what's inside... In her earlier years she would sometimes get caught by her mother, Queen Veenia. Though she loves her daughter, the Queen eventually got fed up with the Princess' constant sneaking and peeking, so she employed the help of the royal pet servants, the Fuzzlians to make sure to patrol the main celebration chamber, and alert the Queen if they catch Teeva snooping around...
These Royal Pets were very skilled in making sure the Princess would never get to her presents early and it drove Teeva crazy. Despite her best efforts, every attempt that she made ended up in humiliating failure. This year, present peeking would be all the more difficult as the Queen had ordered the installation of a laser grid within the chamber. This grid is connected to an alarm system which would go off should the lasers be disturbed. Teeva knew about the system for weeks and had been contemplating many ways to get around it until she found one simple vulnerability. She definitely couldn't go through the grid, but she could go over it...
As night had come, Teeva set out on her personal mission carefully tip toeing to the chamber and making sure to keep a look out for those pesky Fuzzlians. The immense chamber was empty as usual aside from the gorgeous Christmas Tree surrounded by hundreds of brightly wrapped presents, but Teeva wasn't fooled... The Fuzzlians were in here and she had to move quickly. She jumped up to a nearby support column and scaled to it's top platform with great agility. Her plan was to jump from column to column which would bring her closer to the presents while avoiding he laser grid just a few feet below. Each jump was fairly easy as the columns were fairly close together. Teeva began to smile with great satisfaction... there would be nothing to stop her from reaching her goal after so many years of being thwarted... Just a few more jumps and she would have victory!
But as she was preparing for the next column jump, something snagged around her left ankle and tripped her up while in mid-motion... She loudly gasped as she fell forward and flailed her arms around for anything to grab. But before her body could plummet to the collection of presents and couches below her hands slammed into the platform of the next column she was about to leap to. Now she was in trouble... like a living bridge she hung from between the columns over the laser grid. Teeva closed her eyes trying hard not to look down, her fear of heights which a few moments ago had been distracted by the allure of presents, had finally started to kick in. But before she could figure how to get out of this mess, she heard a sound... a purring sound that she had heard many times before and she cursed out loudly knowing exactly what was going on now.
The Fuzzlians giggled as they walk out from their hiding places... Teeva hadn't known that the column platforms were common places for the Fuzzlians to hide and view the Celebration Chamber from overhead, so she was literally doomed from the start. They taunted and teased, much to Teeva's anger as she held on with all of her might. The Fuzzlians knew that though Teeva was a pampered Podarian , she still had a large amount of stamina and strength and would definitely recover... so they set out to help her get down quickly with some very cruel tickles along the length of her body... and to make matters worse, these little tormentors came ultra-prepared spilling T-Oil on her hands and toes, which made Teeva even more upset... How dare they use her OWN concoction against her! Every muscle in Teeva's body burned with intensity as she strained to hold on, her toes and fingers slowly slipping... try as she might, the Fuzzlians know each of Teeva's biggest tickle spots and know exactly how to exploit them to the fullest extent...
Very soon, the Palace will be wide awake... another year foiled.... 😉
