My usual rule is don't discuss religion and politics but I'll make an exception - seems to me there was some anti-Semetic baiting here; however, let's not lose sight of the fact of the post that triggered it all. With no sources quoted, we have an accusation of a plot to dominate a part of the world by a religious minority - in this case the Catholics. Where have I heard this before? Do the words "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" ring a bell? And when people (properly) decry this as a hoax and a forgery, I'd advise them to go back and revisit their own Catholic conspiracy theories whcih are based on ... what were the sources again?

Isn't that from the same McCaine that didn't think about other people's freedoms when he tried to have the UFC banned (Read about it in the book "Inside the Lion's Den"..they had a little section on that)? Just curious.

Anti-semitism?? Hardly considering I'm Jewish. I'm simply pointing out that Steve has a tendency to do the exact same to every other group thats has been done to the Jews since they first formed. Mayby Mr. Button you should zip it until you know the whole story hmm?

shouldn't you be saying "...YES Mr.Button, that's my point exactly! Saying a Catholic conspiracy is responsible for the Vietnam war is as dumb as saying a Jewish conspiracy is responsible for bad Hollywood films and the 9/11 attacks."

i am not subscribing to these theories, i simply want them disproven beyond reasonable doubt. surely someone can do that? i have nothing against anybody that has nothing against anybody. a simple philosophy, yes? however, that excludes a lot of people... people are stupid.

I'm glad I waited this one out...I wasn't sure whether you were making a point or baiting the Jews, Icy, and I thought it was a good idea to see which way this went...
You could make your point and explain at the same time the reason you're making the point. Saves a lot of grief, especially from people who are not as careful as I am. And, I'm learning to be careful around here 😛
