Most likely your paying way too much for AOL. Bottom line is: your going to have more crashes with aol than a monster truck rally. You might even want to think about upgrading to dsl or cable. If you can, get yourself dsl, its cheaper than the cable.

LOL, AphxA, about "more crashes with aol than a monster truck rally" -- I'd love to use that line some time 😀 And yep, it's overpriced (but MSN dial-up is even worse here). I need DSL, but I can't afford the installation and other up-front fees just yet. (We don't have many options to choose from here, so I'm in the same boat as AR for now.)

Eek, the problem has returned with the newly security-patched 1.0.3 Firefox release. AOHell seems not to like the odd-numbered versions, so I will be back to using IE here until FF 1.0.4 comes out or until I get Opera, whichever comes first 😀

(BTW, a small handful of other users at the Mozillazine help forum are now reporting unexpected disconnects when using Firefox, one with NTL Cable!)

Hmmmm...I didn't get Firefox 1.0.3 yet, so I think I may just leave that little red flag sitting there for a while, lol.

Update: The crashes here with FF 1.0.3 occur only if I am also running Yahoo Messenger at the time. YIM may be using too many resources (though I doubt it), or there may be a conflict between YIM, Firefox, and vBulletins.

Well I use IE too and it takes pages about 30 seconds or more to load. Time to use FireFox again.
