Serious Question: Do 'Lees' Ever feel Harrassed On This Forum?

Be honest 'Lees' do you ever feel we 'Lers' are harassing you? I saw a post a few weeks ago that mildly suggested this, and it's made me wonder? 😕

I'd have to say yes to that. I'm a ler, but I'v read alot of posts by lees, and I'd say it's an unfortunet yes.

A 'lee' is someone being tickled, yes! But like sexual harassment I think some can take it too far. And I doubt you want anyone and everyone to tickle you!

well, I wouldn't want a guy tickling me but i would be ok with any girl near my age tickling me. I would think if the lee gets pissed cuz they dont want to be tickled then most lers would back off.

Here's the point. I'm a lee, which y'all know, and there have been a few times when I'd get PMs that I didn't appreciate. In general, I would tell them that it wasn't being appreciated and to back off. But it's never been an issue that it would drive me away from the forum.

Women probably get a lot because I think there's less women here in comparison to men. I don't know if they get more or less, though. I never really got too much, which I'm very thankful for. 😀

My guess would be the females get bombarded, especially when they first start to post....and for the record, I'm not one to do that.

It's also my guess that the PM bombardment from horny male ticklephiles would be a reason most get scared off!

Men are taught to be the aggressors. I think that also has some bearing on it.

I can only speak for myself, of course. I don't feel harassed at all. If I get unwelcome advances that persist even after I've politely said no, I ignore them. I got a PM once that said "you know I want you, don't you?" I didn't even know the sender. No big deal- that's why there's a delete button!

Almost everyone I've dealt with here is friendly and playful, not harassing.

harrassment, sometimes, but very easy to ignore in this type of situation so that's good.

A bit off-topic: TMF is quite safe and nice place, I keep receiving PM's but it's just fine. But clips4sale is another story ... I got harrassed the very first day I put my e-mail there. Scary freaks are out there! Even thought of closing the store down. Should have known saying it's me in the clips can be dangerous ... But unless the freak is standing at my house I can live with it.

...I very much enjoy many of the tickle chats I have had in the past. But, yes I have felt harrassed on one ocassion or another. I have actually been stalked and verbally abused by a guy from TMF before I changed my e-mail address.

I feel so...tame. Hell's bells, I ask if it's OK before I hug someone.

hehehe, you are many things, my lovely Redmage, but tamed, is not one of them. And since we are on the subject of not treating another person from this site well, I will throw out that some of the male lers have been taken advantage by some lees here. But, ending on a positive note, the majority of my contacts have been awesome and truly gifts from the gods.

So I am uneasy about sending random PMs to people, even if it was just introducing my self to them. One thing I don’t want is to make it to people ignore list. Some people have there yahoo name posted in there profiles. I even feel uneasy about adding them to my yahoo, even tho i just want to have a nomal conversation.

Did you put on a thread inroducing yourself? That's a great way to start. You won't make peoples ignore list unless your just incredibly rude, crude, or socially unacceptable. Most people on the forum are very open. Hell, that's why they're here. So we can all talk.
The point of this thread was not to cause fear in PMing people. If that happens no one will ever send PM's again, cause they're afraid they're harrassing someone.

There is a pretty clear cut line between conversing and harassing!
