I'm not going to delete the Coldneck/Mitch spat here in the thread. I'm leaving it as an example of what doesn't happen here.

1st up it's a thread hi-jack.

2nd up it's pretty clear that coldneck is following Mitch around to 'soft' punch him where ever he posts by getting personal. This is a class A GR violation.

3rd up Mitch attacks back in public furthering the GR issue.

Here is the result:

Coldneck, stop posting in Mitch's threads, or in direct reply to his posts elsewhere. Your personal desire to bully one other member is done here. I see any posts I'll start to lay bans on your access.

Mitch, stop replying to people like this, in your own threads or in others. The OP here can care for themselves and not need you white knighting it and making things worse. All you managed here was to derail the OP's thread, and almost get it locked. Cut it out, or the same sort of bans will land on you also.

OP, sorry about your thread. Hopefully now it return to on topic. I'm sure everyone who posts after me will see to that.

While I do agree with most of your points, I must object with "2nd up" and the claim that I have been "following Mitch around".

A quick review of this thread pretty much says it all: I posted #11 with observations and real advice... good advice according to another TMF members who posted later in the thread.

Post #14 was made by Mitchell. After the standard sympathy opener, he took the rest of his post to address me directly and call in question (for the gazillionth time) the moderator's judgments regarding posts pertaining to him.

If anyone was following, it was Mitchell following me.

Please research my posting history. You'll see the only time I addressed Mitchell was in threads he started.


Accusing me of "following" and especially "soft-punching" is totally uncool ... I never "soft-punch" anybody!

In all honesty, I agree with Myriads in that the whole thing should come to end, but I also agree with you, in that Mitchell always seems to be trying to talk about his problems to gain sympathy from other forum members. I'm pretty sure this goes with what GQ something something said about this very thing, trying to gain sympathy through depressed talk means losing respect.

Mitchell has been doing this stuff for quite some time. Derailing threads for his own problems, just generally posting non-stop sob stories about his life to make it seem like his life is just the worst ever. There seems to be no post made by this guy that isn't about his personal life and how much it sucks.

Mitchell, get over yourself, realize that others have problems of their own and don't want to CONSTANTLY hear about yours. Everyone has issues. Move on.
