Okay -- I missed this one on its initial run, so when I saw it on your deviantart page, I had to track it down and comment.

None of my usual critique... This is just right. Dimensions are good, expression is good, wrinkles on skirt and blouse are good, hair is nice. Maybe the background books and table are a little off, but with what's going on, who really cares?! This is my favorite piece of yours to date, and it deserves a bump.

Sometimes when an artist has completed a work, it is done, and that's it. I know that's the case with me. If you put out a general request for a new "sexy librarian"-type picture with bare feet, I'm sure someone will fulfill it, but it's generally considered bad form to ask an artist to alter an existing masterpiece to your liking unless they're actually working on a custom piece for you.

If you like her style, pay the compliment. If you like bare feet, make it known. Suggest you'd love to see bare feet in her next work, perhaps. Then let fate intervene where it may.

Or put up some money and politely request if an artist might do a custom piece for you.

But you wouldn't ask DaVinci to go back and put a bigger grin on the Mona Lisa, now would you?

And certainly not for free.

Thanks! I do notice that I have to improve a bit on perspective. I tend to get a bit lazy towards backgrounds...just gotta watch out for it.
