Amateur Epics: "The Demon".
Hi guys!
I remember that story ("The Five Chinese Brothers") from back when I was a kid too. It was one of the books we got from the library. Might have been the same volume, too; those illustrations look mighty familiar.
Yeah, it was too exhausting to sit through a whole half hour of Cyriak's fever dreams, though I did leave the soundtrack on for awhile. Like to get the music on a CD sometime. Dusty slept through the whole thing, if that's any commentary.
An octopus may have served as inspiration for the forbidding Cthulhu, but I'd love to own one as a pet! They're clever, endlessly fascinating and quite affectionate, if this video is anything to go by:

I had an MM response photo all prepared, but the last phone update somehow fowled up my email so it can't receive or send anything. I can still get mail through the computer, but it doesn't have the tools to create photo composites, so no more of them till I get things straightened out.
Another Fasolino film for today's Epic, this one entitled "The Demon". It has a supernatural theme, as opposed to the science based "Radioactive Beast", but don't expect it to look very much different:
