Great update, and your feet are awesome! Well, not only your feet, which I bet are awesome, I mean the feet you draw 🙂 I'd like to see that April O' Neill scene from the turtles drawn by you. Do you think you could do that for me..? 😉 Would be gorgeous!

LOL, I am usually buried beneath mountains of posts from the five or so forums I frequent, but whenever they all calm, I am on. But, that is still not often.
 
You guys have no idea how great it makes me feel when I peek at who is online, and I see a few people looking at my thread! 🙂

Well I really hate to say this, but I am getting like a lot of complaints from certain people and well I am not doing requests anymore, I'm sorry...Others are telling me repeatedly that I am "taking away" the real artists of the forum's attention...so whatever...Sorry guys...I will keep you guys in mind, and will update my site anyways...I'll just have to think of tickle action on my own I guess....so if you want you can join my site to keep updated on what's going on...Thanks guys for supporting me.
 
It would be quite mean to say you are stealing someone's scene. [Whose scene, anyway?]

"Real" artists should be above such slander.

Else, we might start telling who is good enough to post his/her drawings - and who is NOT.

And community would be at a loss, whatever the outcome.

What stupid crap. Taking away from other people. Your not supposed to be in the art business for praise, but merely to do what you enjoy. But I suppose it can' t be helped if you choose not to take them. I'll still watch your art though.
 
Punky, I won't begrudge you for any decision you make, but I hope you'll change your mind. I for one have enjoyed what you've done, and would like to see you continue. Furthermore, I'd like to see some of these "real" artists complain in the forum instead of through PMs and Email, and explain to all of us what separates you from them.
 
I don't think it is that I am "stealing" anyones scene, they're probably just jealous. I don't know. But I really don't want to put up with it. I don't think it is the other artists, it's other people too. So like I said I really do not want to put up with it. I've went through hell with crap like this on TMF, which is one of the reasons why I am here now and left that place. But If you have hotmail or msn whatever, feel free to join my group, and request there?

While I think leaving personal strifes out of the Forum is good, I'd really like to know who's thrown the first stone, so to speak.

I think everybody should get a chance at posting his/her art in the gallery.

Of course not everybody is equally talented or equally liked. It could be up to the mods to give more or less visibility.

A possible rule would be "seniority" and number of posted pics. After an artist is "on business" long enough, he/she could get a personal gallery like the established users.


About stealing the scene: this is tough.

Not every artist is equally liked by all. Even pros get criticism and have different fan bases.

It's like saying since I watch one's art, for some reason I cannot watch other artists as well.

It's not a life and death choice. You can like just one, them all, or nobody at all.
One more artist won't make the Forum collapse, quite the contrary. 🙂

Keep in mind: this is not an art site. Nobody gets paid for posting pics. Artists just get credit - but no money whatsoever.
So it's pointless to get radical here. 🙂

That's my longwinded 2 cents.

Yeah I know what you mean Kalamos...I'm not going to give out any names, I don't want to put up with it really...I'm just going to make everyone else happy and stop and go on with my doings. I just don't really get what the big deal is...if they can show off their work, why can't I? Oh well.
 
You realize that you do not have to stop posting your work. No one can deny you the right to post your art except TickleTheater. If they try to harass you about it, I can and will delete their post and report them to TT for further action. No member may deny another the right to post. Plain and simple. And, if they are harassing you through email and PMs, report them to TT, and he will get them off your case. Or, tell me and I'll relay it. I'm not being biased for or against you here, but if anyone takes these actions, they violate Theater rules and will be stopped. Plain and simple.
