So fat...

Not utterly gone-to-seed disgustingly so yet, no. Working feverishly on it, though.
 
The fluff and stuff are returning...though not the weight (hmm)...nothing drastic, but it's probably a sign that I need to start exercising more again.

Though, with Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner...I think it's an impossible feat! :laughing:

Try to think of it as a "Winter pelt"! The extra pounds are there to carry you through the colder months and on into the Spring thaw.

Just the fact that I do live in Hawaii makes it all the worse!! D'ya know how much islanders here eat during the holidays?? Seriously, it's always, like, ten times as much food as there are people...and most all of it is gone by the end of the party!! Then there's another party...and another party...and another...and another.....

Maybe it won't be a problem of fluff, as much as it's probably just excess food stocked up in some sack somewhere. Heh, Winter pelt...it's so much I think we islanders could survive on Europa (moon of Neptune) for a week or more!! :laughing:

Though, you're right in that Spring may see a down slope. Beautiful outside. Perfect for walks and runs and all sorts of recreational activities. Yay for Spring!! :happy:

Hehehe! Well I didn't always love it. I hated it for a long time and every attempt to change it failed... So I started loving it instead and now I'm much healthier mentally, emotionally and physically. :super_hap

I'm actually surprised that I've lost a couple pounds this semester at college. Thought I'd gained a few, now I just gotta keep working on getting to 260 (my current goal).

I've always been fat, so I neither love it nor hate it. I'm mostly working on losing weight just to take care of my back and prevent future health issues.
 
I'm not fat, simply not as thin as I'd like. But damn, losing weight is a bitch. What padding I do have is so freaking hard to shake.
 
I've gotten a belly from sitting around a wee bit too much, but I'm running a pretty intense training procedure lately to get a 6-pack. Hey, if I'm finally getting weight, might as well distribute it.

Right on to that. Am I the only one who thinks that the current hysteria over belly fat is overblown and does more harm than good? Even if it is true that excess weight in certain locations can pose health problems, Americans tend to be alarmist about whatever health crisis, real or fabricated, happens to be on the news. Meanwhile, those same media outlets are still advertising fairly toxic foods, like those ridiculous triple-cheeseburgers with ultra-sized fries.

Having said all of that, I do have a noticeable paunch that I'm rather tired of dragging around. Perhaps it's time to reacquaint myself with the gym that I belong to.

As for parties, I used to dive headlong (metaphorically speaking that is) into the food table. Now I sample a bit of this and a dollop of that. I spend more time talking to other partyers instead of eating.

I work out 3 times a week, for a few months thus far, and seem to be getting really strong and fit in that aspect, but last week I had a personal fitness profile and am STILL 1/3 fat! *tear* :'(
My personal trainer said, to see differences here (pick anywhere on the body, namely abs), you have to watch what you put in here- points to mouth. For the majority of people that do relatively enough exercise, it's just watching what you put in your trap. A six-pack's likely hiding behind that keg.
And so yeah... though I may look fit, skinny, whatever, I'm REALLY fat. I know that for a fact, and that sucks. :sigh: :sad:

I too expect to be ambulatory. However: not tonight. I put in my miles today already. Tonight, it's sheer sloth-city for me. :content:
 
im the fattest ive ever been in my life right now. 200lbs! ugh! and i was just 190 like a few months ago! but ive been lifting weights more than running then too... so ill call muscle gain rather than fat gain.
but, im running more now. although i was just sick for like a week and wasnt up for doing anything. but. im back to it tomorrow. woot!

I suspect you are absolutely right about alittle belly-fat being nowhere near as terrible a thing as many might have us believe.

On the other hand, sleek, toned abs can be oh, so sexy.

On still another hand, I drool for triple-cheeseburgers with ultra-sized fries.

Like most Americans, I easily succumb to the lures of the fast food. :bald:
 
Stomach fat is the most unhealthiest area to have fat, for most all health reasons.
