Next up is a character who's no stranger to ticklish situations. Having been featured in several cartoon tickling scenes over the years ( a couple of 'em , perhaps , even reaching 'classic' status ) , she's known to be fairly popular amongst our particular lot. Tied to a set of railroad tracks & once again falling victim to the ol' shoe-peeling maneuver , Olive Oyl is sent into hysterics courtesy of her all too eager sparring partner , Bluto. Thanks to these two , the cobblers in Sweethaven do quite well.

This latest installment depicts a couple of characters who have gone toe-to-toe before. At first glance , it might seem that Victor Creed has the upper hand on Betsy Braddock by going w/a more mouth-to-toes approach ; but a closer look suggests that Sabretooth's actions are not his own. Well , well , well , Psylocke ... who knew that British ninja mutants were such kinky gals? 😉

While I currently don't have any more pics of the characters you listed above , that doesn't mean that they won't become the subject matter of any future pieces some day. I guess we'll hafta find out together on that one.


So hey ...! Does anybody remember that old Hanna-Barbara cartoon , The Herculoids? Well if you do , you may remember the lone female character , Tara. She was the wife to Zandor & mother to Dorno. Anyhoo ... in one of the episodes , the planet of Amzot was suddenly invaded by strange beings referred to as 'pod creatures'. Their design was fairly simplistic ; however they did possess these tentacle-like appendages in lieu of traditional arms. Even as a kid , my mind brainstormed about all the wicked , ticklish possibilities ( obviously ).

A few years ago , I stumbled upon a blog whose author wrote these mini episode summaries of the show & lo & behold , The Pod Creatures was among them. The site also featured a piece of art depicting Tara being attacked by the pod creatures :

... & BAM! I was inspired! lol Below is my interpretation of Tara & a few of these pod creatures getting to know one another ... our way. Enjoy!

Apologies for the delay in posting this last image , everyone. I would've finished inking it a lot sooner ; but it's been a fairly busy month & things kept popping up that prevented me from doing so. This pic marks the final installment for this anniversary thread & I hope you all have enjoyed the updates this last month+. Thank you so much for the positive feedback I have received along the way. I am proud to belong to such welcoming , gracious community.


This final piece features a character w/whom I'm sure you're all familiar. Like Olive Oyl , her *ahem* participation in that one scene from that one TMNT episode has garnered April O'Neil a somewhat 'legendary' status amongst our kind. Heck , that scene might be a big reason why some of you are ultimately here on this site in the first place. 😉

Here , we see April's gotten herself into another ticklish predicament. Since she keeps finding herself captured time after time by the Foot Clan & having to rely on her friends , the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles , to come to her rescue , she felt it was high time she learned how to defend herself. Who better to ask for such instruction than Master Splinter?

Well , whether Splinter simply misunderstood April's request for his "expertise on triumphing over the Foot" ... or he's having a bit of fun at her expense ... we can only guess.
