I was just curious..why do men get turned on or super hard when hearing a female giggle or laugh? i am fascinated by this , it intrigues me. I'm always told how sexy and cute my laugh can be. Any females get that response also?

Isabeau this is a very interesting question, as just listening to a woman giggle or having hysterics can literally torment me out of my mind. Tickling wouldn't have to be involved either. What is also slightly curious for me on this is that first and foremost I am a male lee, so one might think there wouldn't neccesarily be a connection. Yet the connection for me anyway, is that listening to a woman laugh, doesn't turn me in the same way as seeing a sexy woman undressed, but rather the sound of her laughter actually creates a tickling sensation within me (as in whole body/bloodstream/veins).

Two small theories on this.

1) There is a lady I occasionally meet up with as part of a group (I probably bump into her about once every three months), whom truth be told I would like to bump into more often. Anyway I have never heard her really laugh as such, yet she has this high pitch to her voice, that really affects me every time she speaks. So maybe it is a tonal thing.

2) The other theory is that I was watching a martial arts programme one day. Anyway one of the masters demonstrated how it was possible to knock someone over by shouting at them. His theory was that as the body is 70% water you could create a ripple within that water (and hence knock them over) with a loud enough noise. So again I surmise that a womans laugh (just as an opera singer can shatter a wine glass) creates a ripple effect in the person hearing it, and thus internally tickles them.

I do not know, but the female giggling or laughing is a sound to die for.

Laughter is definitely a big thing for me, too. I don't know what about hearing it is, but it can totally make me change my mind about a person. Say, if they have a laugh i really like, i can fall for them, or if i was into them, but they had a laugh that would drive me crazy after a while, its a bit of a turn off.

Toneus thank you for that explanation..that seems to make sense to me. It's a question that i have wondered about lately.

Deadsea yea i'm sure it is....

Amanda i know exactly what you mean..some laughter is music to one's ear..other laughter however is harsh or rough and a complete turn off..um i'm talking about female laughter here lol..

I think statistically whenever a women is laughing around me, particularly if it's as a result of something i've done tickling, joking ext, that the turn on comes in knowing that we are having a great interaction and building a fun relationship to whatever degree it may be. Maybe it effects us in such a way subconciously that whenever we hear laughter that it takes us back to that oasis.. Of course as already stated the ever annoying high pitched scream kinda giggle or a few other types of laughs can be enough to derail the whole experience.. :cool2: It's a great question, hope I made a little sense.. Later gators..

hey thanks for your input Lionhart..and to think i actually asked a great question lol.. what you said also makes sense to me..

My 2 cents on the reason men like the sound of women's laughter it probably is genetic, behavioural, psychological, and physiological. Genetically, our ancestors hd heightened senses to keep them alive and thrive and reproduce. Males were probably hard wired to sense where a woman was so they could reproduce. One way was to listen and identity a woman's voice from other sounds in a male's surroundings. So, for the majority of the males today a woman's voice probably triggers/activates a prehistoric primitive arousal mechanism.

For the behavioural, psychological perspective laughter could correspond and/or correlate to submissiveness or a woman showing vulnerability by letting go of her
inhibitions and showing she feels safe enough to enjoy herself around men.
Thus, Men could find the subtle power /control situation attractive.

Physiological, for myself and perhaps other male TMF members, laughter from women almostr always brings to our minds a women being tickled. Male tickle fetishists, myself and maybe others, find women's laughter super arousing.

and finally, laughter is infectious and fun to hear.

😎 :tickle: <<<<---- :bunny:

Yea, i was talking about female laughter too.. 😱

I'd like to add that just because a guy complements a woman on a physical feature does not necessarily mean he's super hard over it or even turned on. Sometimes it's just a complement, plain and simple. I mean, I like seeing a woman with clean, neatly done hair, but that doesn't mean I "get off" seeing it.

ahh but i've been told personally it turns the person on when they hear me laugh or giggle...so that explains that.

Sometimes I think I have a tickling fetish to feed my laughing fetish...
Well, it really isn't a fetish but I do love laughter, NOT SCREAMING, but laughter.
That big full laughter, giggles are great too but laughter, almost laughter you might hear at a comedy club but hopefully being produced by my touch.

Facial expression for me is a big part to and if the lees facial expression and her laughter are up my alley then I will be turned on big time and if it is because I am doing the tickling or watching the tickling well I don't have to tell you how I would feel 😛

Actually, its a very intelligent and legitimate question. In reading the responses thus far, I would suggest that Rajee probably came the closest to the actual answer from a psychological perspective.

Human beings are attuned to different sounds and pitches that reflect positive or negative emotional responses and brain patterns. Laughter begins in most humans at about 4-5 months, and I believe it is at this point that the type and frequency of laughter patterns imprints significantly in our auditory memories. Those patterns may be subject to change or expansion, dependent upon our life experience and social interactions.

Laughter is found by many people to be sexy when it has a musical quality, and pattern to it. Each brain understands the rhythm and pitch, and interprets it differently, depending upon the person. Some feel warmth, while others feel giggly themselves (we all know someone who can't help but laugh when they hear others laugh). Either way, the general sound of laughter has a positive emotional impact on most humans.

After exhaustive research into my own fetish over the last 22 years, I have come to believe the fetishistic aspect of the sound and timbre of laughter is rooted inextricably to the auditory trigger for sexual response in those people who attach laughter to fetishistic behavior. Much like the way certain smells conjure images of Grandma's cooking, the sound of sexy laughter is like hitting a button in the brain that instantly opens a sexually based Rorschach test. You hear the laughter, and you immediately begin attaching random abstract sexual imagery to the sound of the laughter. Most of those images are subconsciously synonymous with vulnerability, sexual freedom, submission, sexual playfulness, approachability, and flirtation. The images don't have to be images in the visual sense, but emotional images; stroboscopic flashes of emotional excitation linked to feelings of desire.

I’ll use myself as the synopsis to my answer. With me, the answer to your question about why I become turned on by women's laughter (within the context of my fetish) is because in my mind, laughter is the end result; the byproduct of my deep-seeded psychological sexual triggers – tickling, flirtation, feminine vulnerability, etc. The sound of particularly appealing laughter is the psychological equivalent of a sexy woman pressing her lips against my ear and whispering, “this is just a sample of what I sound like when I’m tickled - and I love to be tickled.”

Shadowtklr i knew you would come up with an interesting response..thank you and i agree, rajee did make the most sense..as did you of course..but when do you not?

A womans laughter is a sweet sound , its shows mood and personallity .
