Celeron is Intel's marketing name for their low-budget series - there have been Celerons based on PII, III and 4 chips. AFAIK the only difference is a big reduction in the amount of on-chip level 2 cache, the instruction sets are the same. Celerons have much worse performance than fully-fledged P4s at the same clock speed.
