Sprite tickling

Well... at least you don't need Poser for this.

So, as part of my scanner's tenure of being broken, I've done a sprite manip of a Guilty gear character (dunno, weird girl with huge key) being chained to her weapon and tickled by Dizzy (also from Guilty Gear). As with another May piece I did long ago and have since lost, I decided to sprite feet on and remove her boots. I fully understand that the background is a total and utter shambles... I only drew the stage to elevate the girl's position for Dizzy's feathers.

I'm not sure what exactly it was you did with this picture (my understanding of computer-driven art technique is poor), but the result looks mighty fine! The girl's toes flair nicely; the feathers are appropriately fluffy and lively; her "anxiety drop" and tousled hair are sly indications of her harried mental state (I find it rather seductive, the distinctive anime way that falling hair often obscure facial features)! I'd be interested to see the unaltered original, to learn what elements of manipulation have taken place.

looks great , must have been a lot of work to remove those boots and add the feet. Also with the one rgev showed my eye cought the bg where one is burried in the sand ^^.

Most instructive! The picture's been greatly altered indeed (man, that is a very busy background!) Skull's right, too... plenty of ready opportunities in this neck of the woods! Just look at this treasure trove of bare feet!

i'd say this one has a better option to it XP

from what i asume since i haven't played the game it's a tortured spirit from the character testament, a kinda grim reaper looking goth.

ooh, not a bad job at all...I've seen a few attempts at making sprite tickle animations or pictures, but this looks pretty good

This reminds me of my gif animation I made some time ago. Although, this one obviously has more work put into it than mine does.

Very nice work. BTW, the lee looks like she isn't even secured onto anything at all. Makes me wonder.... XP

Basically, my plan is usually to find an interesting character wearing shoes and edit their sprites so they're barefoot. It's just more fun that way, since I enjoy editing and altering sprites.

The tousled hair falling over the face was thankfully part of the original sprite, but I agree that it does add something extra to the picture. I'm also glad you like the way the feet look, LBH. =D

Oh, does anyone know where I might find backgrounds for Guilty Gear? I think it'd add a lot to the authenticity of the pictures If I used the BGs from the original games.
