stocks punishment

I don't think this would work in U.S. society as a whole,but, in a closed community, like a commune of like minded people it could work as a punishment for minor infractions of community rules or as a fun way of taking people down a peg, like used to happen sometimes in Rome when they had a day once a year where the masters and slaves traded places for a day. Even though being tickled for me is a turn on, to be locked in he stocks for an entire day and be tickled as long as anyone's whim dictates, would be punishment. And, if I had a say in designing such a punishment, I would require that the person punished be naked as well, which would be an additional humiliation.
