Stoner music

Oh shit, I listen to alan parsons too! Psychobabble and the like. Awesome choice in music! :happyfloa

How about the White Stripes? Just an amazing new band. Kiss, Jimmy Buffett, Marrillion (fish NOT phish!), Social Distortion, Neil Young, Beethoven's 5th, & 9th, Led Zep #4, Lenoard Cohen (Dance me to the end of love baby!), Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Wooodie Guthrie, Lou Reed (did I say that already?) Old Metallica, Ummmmmm.....anybody got a light?

Peace

How bout Arlo Guthrie? Good shit. And yeah, White Stripes are pretty good. Don't like the drummer chick, but Hotel Yorba and Little Room and the Dirty Leaves song is good as well. Vines have a cool video.

I can't turn to the left or the right
I'm too weak to run and too scared to fight
I don't care it's all Psychobabble rap to me!

Sye-Ko-Baa-Bull!

Toot toot toot toot toot toot toot toot toot toot toot tooo!

That album, "Eye in the Sky," also includes one of mankind's great space-out tunes, "Mammagamma"(For your own safety, only one hit before listening!), "Snake-Eyes," Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat's entrance music, and "Old and Wise," which I personally owe no less than 7 lays to (Actually, 7 Smoke-Dope-Tickle-Then-Lays)...Or was that Scorpions "Lady Starlight?" John Cougar "Make Me Feel?" Bonnie Tyler "Total Eclipse of the Heart?" Donna Summer "Once Upon A Time?" Styx "Aku-Aku?" Ozzy Osbourne "Tonight?"

CRAZY TRAIN! Now THERE's a Get-Me-Ripped-And-Rock-Me tune!

...I need another hit like I need another...uh...

I bought The White Stripes 2nd disc after hearing it being played in a local used book store, not bad, lot of Zeppelin-style things. Especially "Little Bird".
As far as true stoner cds, Pink Floyds "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" and "Saucerful of Secrets" are required listening.
