Thanks for the great review, LBH!
Hell freezing over… a darned effective cliffhanger and setup for the third part of this series!
Hehe, indeed. Moreso the fact that Priëlla can't go there. More than the end of the first story (Stranded in Hell) this one is screaming 'sequel!'
Above all, I appreciate those elements of storytelling which wear their heart on their sleeve: it's unusual for a fetish entertainment to dwell on deeply-held friendships, shattered familial bonds or the angst and joys of pregnancy, but such themes add immeasurable depth to this narrative and free up the tickling for the diversionary purpose it most profitably fulfills!
I like a little drama and scenes about love (not to be mistaken for sex scenes, I don't do porn). Also, what I haven't told, this story isn't really written to entertain the tickle fetishists (to me tickling isn't really actually a fetish, I think tickling is fun and I like this community in general so it's fun to post here and participate) - it's the story that drives me and it's at the same time suitable and probably quite enjoyable to the readers here. The same counts also for the upcoming sequel: It contains tickling, but mostly because that is in Priëlla's nature, it is logical. But the setting is also really different. (well, it has to be... seeing that Dora is gone.)
I particularly enjoy those moments which explore the mutual affection between your protagonists… I found their parting on page 11 ("Be good, Priëlla!" "Be happy, Dora!"), as they fly back to their opposing realms, to be an especially moving moment!
Oh yes, and that line is a "signature moment" throughout the trilogy. You see this same thing on the last page in "Stranded in Hell", it's when Dora leaves to Heaven, when they separate for the first time. You will, HALF of it, see again at the end of the final chapter. This is part of the theme and runs through the story like a red thread.
😉
Augustina and Frank's struggles to conceive bracket the tale quite nicely, additionally adding a quotient of confounding complexity to any sequel!
*nods* it gives the story an extra dimension, as well as being really important for everything that still follows in the upcoming sequel.
The countdown structure of the tale supplies tremendous suspense (though I'm a little dubious of the 5 minute gap between the scar-faced thug's "fat guy" slip and Dora/Priella's recognition of the fact [page 11]!)
That's because they are seconds, not minutes.
😉 The format is "HH:MM.SS". I think the duration of the v-shift has not been exactly specified anywhere, except that it happens only once a month. In fact they have a day time to do all this and luckily for them they can travel around pretty much instantly or they could have not done it.
And one must feel deep empathy for Priëlla… her extreme discomfort in any landscape other than Hell sets up the third part of this series in cataclysmic fashion! Must say, I'm most intrigued by what you plan next! It's nothing I'll successfully anticipate, I imagine!
Yes. Whereas you might have felt sorry for Dora during the first story (while she was undeservingly in Hell and being tortured over and over again) it is now Priëlla's turn to fall into despair. She may be in bigger trouble however, seen as there's no knowing how long before she can go back to where she wants to be - if indeed she even can! She soon finds out that she can't reach Dora anymore, of course... so... where to go from there?
Priëlla will also go through changes (again, and this is also almost a constant in the story). In the first story she had less impressive wings and smaller horns, she was just a minion. When she got promoted her appearance changed with it. She got taller horns, bigger wings and more body patterns. This time, as you can see in the sneak-peek of my banner, she has to adjust to the climate on Earth. Whereas she had been equipped with a bra for most of the current story, she's going to want actual clothing to stay a little warm this time around. And she did something with her hair, you can now actually see her second eye (which you only saw once in the original story), which I think is pretty cool.
