Damn, i cant believe Indy opened up at 5 1/2 point favorite. i figured it might be a pick game. i guess after they played yesterday, the saints are suspect.

I'm pretty certain that the Colts will win, but hopefully, the game will be close.

When you consider that the only two games that the Colts have lost have been because their starters were resting on the sidelines for 1/2 the game or more...

Plus: Peyton Manning.

And you are correct in thinking the Saints suspect play on Sunday moved the line at least 1/2 point.

Not saying the Saints can't do it (because they've won dramatic all year), but they'll have their plates full.

I anticipate a GREAT game.

well, I think the Saints are going to win. They will find a way to pull it off in the end and stay in the game like they did with the vikings. And the Saints also have more heart than the Colts... I think that'll help them. They want it more. And I know that might be a stupid reason to say the Saints are going to win, but I think they will.. and part of me wants them to succeed and I'll root for them but on the other hand, kinda don't want them to win because then if they win the Superbowl I won't be able to call them the aints anymore... bc they would have finally won so anything's possible lol

Not in the least. It's quite evident that they have a 'Rocky' level amounts of heart at this point.

I think the is the first Super Bowl since Rams-Titans that I can't honestly choose one side with the utmost of confidence. Either team could win in my mind.

Only two SB's in my memory have given me that feeling: Pack-Broncs 98, Rams-Titans 99.

Every other game I felt like there was one team who 'had it' more than the other.

But I see your point. Bill Simmons might call it 'nobody believed in us theory'. 😀

I'm actually shocked @ the over/under 56 1/2?! For a Super Bowl?!

That'd be one high-scoring affair if they break the over! Not that it's impossible, but usually teams play conservative and/or 'buckle down defensively' when it's all on the line.

I'm SO tempted to take that under. Even if the victor scored 30 and gave up 24 you'd win that bet! Just...
