and the over on top of it.

Wheres all the steelers fans?![]()

^The Steelers had three interceptions and only lost by Six points.^
took better advantage of some breaks given up by the Steelers having a rough day.
What about all of the passes the Packers dropped?
Both teams had their rough moments.
Look for the Pats to win it next year! thats my early prediction.
Besides, they represent the AFC--the best conference in the world baby! And even with their issues last night, I don't think there was a better team that could represent against Green Bay.
I don't understand rooting for a team just because they're in your conference. I'll never pull for an NFC East team other than Dallas, the Giants in Super Bowl XLII being the only exception. And I'd never pull for the 49ers or Steelers. The Packers could be included in the group. Sunday was a choice between the lesser of two evils. I would think that the last thing a Browns fan would want is for another Pittsburgh championship.
I doubt Chicago and Minnesota will give the Packers a standing ovation when they come for a visit.
I never understood the whole rooting for your teams conference no matter what. if my team loses, then who gives a crap about what conference a team is that you root for.
I really don't see the need to defend my position on this at all. I'm a sports fan, not some die-hard fanatic.
I understand. I'm one of those die-hard fanatics. I base all of my decisions on one thing: what effect will it have on the Dallas Cowboys?
*scratches head*
I wasn't exactly calling you a die-hard fanatic personally.
I was saying that my approach is obviously different than others' and didn't see the need to defend it. I enjoy sports but it's not exactly the cure for cancer so I don't take it nearly as seriously as I know some do. I used to let it stress me out to the point of calling off work on Mondays if the Browns had a bad game back in the 1990s. No one should let anything have that type of effect on them, IMO.
I wasn't joking or being sarcastic. I actually do base all of my decisions, at least those related to football, on the effect it will have on the Cowboys. I don't think I've ever called-out of work because of a loss, but I do let it get to me more than it probably should.
