You know, every 4 years I tell myself I'm not going to get drawn into anything to do with the Olympics. Then something like this happens. Anybody who saw the end of this thing would likely agree that this one is for the history books. Awesome race!

The comeback Lezak made was incredible. The swimming has been pretty interesting thus far, with many world records being broken.

That entire team has turned out be be incredibly impressive. You always hear about Michael Phelps and with good reason, but Lezak's comeback was unreal. By the way, for those who don't know, both Phelps and Katie Hoff are from my backyard. Those two are real popular in Maryland.

things like this are turning me into a swim fan. That relay was incredible from any athletic perspective. And I did not see until today's broadcast that Phelps went over to shake the hand of the french swimmer that guaranteed a french victory.

this has been a pretty good Olympics to watch thus far.

Phelps looks very strong, although I'm inclined to think that his contribution in the final of the 400m freestyle relay was somewhat lacklustre.

Still, it's looking up for him to get his 8 gold's. He is definitely one of the world's best ever swimmers, without a shadow of a doubt.

Lezak actually saved Phelps' butt because he was slow starting. But I loved the looks of the French team's faces when they realized they didn't win gold. Now go smash this buddy!!!!

Oh, and who is that Cullen Jones? He makes me want to consider going "cougar" baby! What a hottie!

Huge backyard. 😀 They both grew up in the Towson area. Takes me about 10 minutes to get there.
