Telling your friends about your fetish?

Once I told my lil sister, got outted by my mother and my other sister... it actually got a bit easier to tell my close friends. (story and a half!)

Now, some of my closest friends are my collegues (don't feel like they need to know). And.... people into tickling. They already know it. 😀

Most people who know question how I am able to take it.

I have heard so many crazy fetishes from my friends, some who came out indirectly just to see how I'd respond. But I haven't told them about mine yet -- not even indirectly, namely because they would go around telling everyone else.

Meh. I don't see the point in it. If my friends have any fetishes they haven't told me about it, so why would I want to tell them? We just don't talk about that kind of thing at all, so it would be awkward to throw something like that out there.

Besides, why does it matter? The only person(s) I'd want to know about my personal fetish(es) would be my significant other at the time.

The more I open up in my personal circles, the more I find that your better friends generally won't look down upon your interests. More recently I've up and told some of my newer friends, and I've actually found one or two that enjoy being tickled as well as tickling (like me).

I work in the fetish industry and go to fetish clubs so it is easy for me to talk about it with allot of the people I come into contact with because they are open and honest about their own fetishes but I don't talk about it with friends etc outside of the fetish world. Even at fetish clubs there are allot of people who don't know about the tickle fetish until they see it for themselves. I am from the UK and tickling is not a mainstream fetish. Nobody ever talks about it unfortunately...
