well, i can see you dont know what talent is. Eminem has tremendous talent. his lyrics, his rhymes, the story he tells is amazing. much like Tupac Shakur, Eminem has a style that cant be matched. whether you like him as a person or not, the man does have talent.

Hmmmmm, gotta strongly diagree with you there, Red. Like the guy or not, he is a lyrical genius. I'm not a huge fan of rap myself, and I don't always agree with what Eminem has got to say, but he is an amazing talent, and he has a die hard fan here.

If you think his message is always bad, try listening to "Lose Yourself" and "Sing For The Moment". He's not the monster everyone makes him out to be.

I was at the one in Pittsburgh. It got rescheduled once because they didn't think they sold enough tickets (there were mabye 35 empty seats?) and they tried to reschedule it a second time, but I guess the Mellon Arena people said No. Thankfully, they didn't decide to cancel the entire show altogether

that would`ve sucked had they cancelled it.nassau coliseum was packed,not an empty seat in the place...not like i cared though,i was only 12 rows from the stage.

I can't quite get past the pain in my ears long enough to actually hear the rest of the lyrics. The guy obviously has *something*, be it talent or just some kind of amazing appeal. I just can't seem get into the rap scene. I've tried listening to several rap artists, eminem being one of them. The only thing I can get from it is a headache. I wish I could find an in-between kind of rap. Something that crosses with some jazz progressions, or rock... I absolutely love the primal beat the music has but as soon as the lyrics start and I hear the 3rd or 10th "mutha fucka", I just lose interest in whatever else the artist is trying to say.

Yeah, Eminem must be cool if he can go around waving guns at people, it's obviously the mark of a good musician. I'm surprised that college music courses don't have a subject called "fire-arms intimidation 101", just think how much better musicians would be if they had done that(well the surviving ones at least).

Another thing in your post that confused me is that you say that "they fear Em", yet just a few posts earlier you mention "how they have the balls to diss Eminem". Well, which is it?

Also the topic of the gun is mentioned in their song, which I posted a link to earlier in this thread, here's an extract of the lyrics for those that haven't already downloaded it (shame on you):
