Thanks to all the organizers and attendees for making this gathering such a big success. It was my 2nd NEST and it was a wonderful experience. I'd like to thank Max, Jan and Pete for their efforts in putting this together, and say hi to all the NESTers (TTD, Shygirl, BeautyUK, Lite, DVNC, Kraftie, Bella, Doug, and so many more) who added to the goodwill and comraderie of the event.

Yes, Phil, I did read your comment. I hope you, Frank, and Joel got a good work out...I know I did! Better than any gym.

The organization of the whole event was phenomenal. Truly, you are all to be applauded at putting this together. You didn't even miss a beat when the venue changed! I'm truly impressed - wish you could give some pointers to my colleagues...I've attended far too many dismal and horrendously run veterinary conferences.

As to the overall spirit, while I'm not a huge mingler, there was an overwhelming sense of camraderie everywhere you looked.

Not a negative thing to say about the entire experience...except that it was maybe too much fun!

My 2 cents...

Wow!!! What an event to remember!!!
I guess first and foremost I should thank all the DM's that walked around keeping everyone safe and bound...er sound. 😀
Thanks of course to Max, Jan and Pete for all their late minute heroics in getting the new location.

It was so cool to put faces and feet to screen names of people I have chatted with online.

I think the coolest thing was actually before I got to the event, trying to park my car, going down South Street and seeing faces that I have seen in the TMF members pics area or from previous events or the ominous black bags over their shoulder thinking, gee I know where they are going...

The hardest part was walking back to my car and seeing people that were not at NEST...that I wish were... 😱
Oh this is also a problem of going to a NEST, for the next 3-4 days you have to stop yourself from walking up to someone and tickling them silly.

A weird moment was helping bring in the loads of food out of the trunk of someones car...it felt like a scene out of a James Bond film...The car pulls up, stuff is wisked out of the car and then into the building, then the car drives away.

Oh Jen, sorry I didn't come back to finish your feet...I got distracted by TTD and Lord P tickling the bejesus out of Mistress Mia... But I made up for it later 🙂

Pete, great to see you again bud...oh as a side note... I tried that vibrating brush on my wife...Oh my what results...silly me thinking I wouldn't get a reaction. Anyone know a good roofer.😀

TTD and Shygirl...Great to see you both. TTD you got a good one there, hold on to her, if you can(Litereally)...

Spenser and Melinda...I loved those stocks you brought...Great fun meeting you two again...I will have to make a TnF soon.

To all the other folks I met and tickled and chatted with(too many to name here), well I loved every minute of it and can't wait for the fall NEST.

I truly wasn't! I never got tied down and in fact, other that the little tickle attacks here and there I wasn't tickled hardly at all.

I can't believe I pulled that Houdini trick again and escaped. Of course, I know that by posting this I'm just making more toast of myself for the next gathering. Dan has the marmalade ready! LOL

I can only tell you that I was SO thankful I wasn't getting what we dished out on Andy. I would have passed out long before he did probably by hours!

I do love being a "Ler" mostly because it saves me from being a "Lee". And being busy at NEST is a perfect excuse to get out of any torment. Heaven knows there was plenty of torment going around that day and night. And truly, I was exhausted at NEST and would not have been able to fight back much which is sometimes part of the fun! You wouldn't want me lying there like a wet noodle just giggling now would ya?

I just consider myself VERY lucky to have escaped the torment that day! Thank you God!

I know it has taken me awhile to post, but I am totally exhausted from all the fun I had and the long 11 hour drive from Philly back to Atlanta.

First of all to the amazing hard working people who put this all together… I would like to thank MRHyde, QBWeaver, Mkeemer, DVNC, (all others, if I forgot your name, please forgive me)… and most of all MAXSPEER for a wonderful time. I have to admit, I was nervous and worried about attending NEST. It was going to be soooo big, bigger than any gathering that I have ever attended. But WOW! Ya’ll are so awesome. I even took my sister to meet you all and I didn’t have to beat anyone’s ass! (No mistake, I would have!) She thinks we are all crazy, by the way, but she also thinks it’s cool that I am not nearly as perfect and innocent as everyone back home is fooled into believing I am. I am such an angel, aren’t I? :Angel: Heehee And Damn if I forgot to bring her back some of that rope Dan. Save me some ok? (Food was great… friends were great! Fun was great… THANKS)

Shem and Nightfall…congrats, NJJen it was great meeting you. We have to hang out more next time. Mistress Mia, Spenser, Melinda, Tcrew, OneFunkyBassist, Jeff, Deb, Doug…anyone else I have missed (I am so sorry), it was nice meeting you. Ahhh - here is where everybody is posting about the BEST NEST ever...

I can't believe its been a week since I returned from Philly. It's taken me that long to almost come down from the high, and to almost get over the blues from it being over.

First off, a HUGE THANKS to Max & Jan for putting together an absolutely awesome event. Thanks for all of your hard work! And, Bro, look at what you started! 72 people at this gathering - my hat is off to you. Can't wait for the next one - I'm confident it will be bigger and better.

As always, it was great seeing old friends - Mike, Pete, Lee, Jan, John, DVNC. You guys are like family.

And then there are the new friends: Kim, Spenser & Melinda (hope you liked the foot rub half as much as I did), Shygirl & the new TTD (Ed - I know you're not a new friend, but I guess you can say you are "new & improved"), Krafty, Tickling Duo - Ann & Drew, Terry, Dan, and Doug. Can't wait to see all of you at the next one.

I'm not even going to try to individually list all the people I met at NEST because I'm sure I would inadvertantly omit way too many. You all know who you are & how much you all mean to me. It was an absolutely wonderful experience that I hope to repeat on an annual basis........

& lite, my dearest one, experiencing NEST with you was the very best part of all.......

This is a frequent affliction suffered by NEST attendees. It generally hits people the day after NEST with the knowledge that we all have to go home and back to our regularly scheduled lives and leave behind some incredible friends who have all worked themselves into our hearts!

I'm just home from Phili. I'm still exhausted and could probably sleep for a week but I'll always have that smile on my face each time I remember a part of the weekend.

Phili?...it was in Phili? ...Isn't Phili in PA? ..if it is, then ARRGHH! I coulda had the perfect excuse ( so my dad or anyone else wouldn't have known where I was really goin. lol )...I coulda said that I was gonna see my friend Kristin in PA. Well, I would've done that too. lol Man, I swear I have worse luck than Spider-Man. lmao
