I never joined the debate team in school.

I never liked language courses even though I did well enough in Spanish and in German. (Almost all of which I have forgotten.)

I never liked matching school uniforms which we had in grammar school.

I never noticed what other students were wearing in elementary school.

I always offered to give kids in school a little part of my snack.

I got promoted every year to the next grade in elementary school.

I never questioned how much I liked math class.

I ran for Student Council and (unfortunately) won in the 7th grade.

I studied in school as much as I could concentrate.

I rarely told teachers when they made a mistake teaching mathematics.

I never understood why I needed to know the quadratic formula in school.

I always felt validated when getting good grades.

I always worried if my report card wasn't up to par when I had to show my parents.

I never xeroxed anything in high school because only teachers were allowed to use the one and only copy machine in the building.

I never liked teachers who would yell at the kids in school.

I was zealous in all my math classes.
