I always worried about being late for the beginning of the school day.

I never hurried my school years because adults warned me to enjoy them.

I was never invited to the parties given by the cool kids in high school.

I never joined many group activities in school.

I never kicked any of my teachers in the shins.

I loved a girl named Tara who I met in middle school.

I was never in my high school's marching band.

I noticed that I had math skills from a young age in school.

I opened my math textbooks with confidence in high school.

I pretended that I was good at science in school but I wasn't.

I never questioned the authority of the teachers in grade school.

I was a good runner in high school and they wanted me to join the team but I didn't.

The teacher who taught statistics in my high school came to our 50th reunion in 2018 and he looked amazingly good for a man in his 80's.

I never taught math but I thought about doing it.

I never understood why some people don't like math.
