The BEST of MTJ (Updated)
What MTP Jeff and tickler n black have done for our fetish universe in video, Morandilas has done for us in print...and e-print. So, I have decided that the time has come to repay our debt to him with a plug about the best matieral he has to offer. Now, I haven't read everything he has to sell, but I've read enough to know what I'm talking about on the following:
SLAVES OF RIJHANA
E-Novel (m/f, f/f)
ShemthePenman lives up to his namesake with his crowning achievement. This epic fantasy novella concerns an unfortunate woman named Sara who slips through reality to Rijhana; a tropical world where humans are taken as tickle slaves to the anthropomorphic furskins. A race of indescribably cruelty, these creatures subject Sara to unendurable torture sessions you must read to believe. Shem never falters in his ability to present a textual illustration of a fantasy realm in all its lush and mysterious detail, a feat matched only by his descriptions of suffering; the tortures last up to several pages and the descriptions are so precise that you will actually FEEL the character's exhaustion. An unquestionable masterpiece of tickling fiction, this is without a doubt THE BEST STAND-ALONE PRODUCT MTJ HAS TO OFFER!
PURE TORTURE
E-comic (m/f, f/f)
With this dynamite comic series, ShanE shows that he is the master of cruel tickling art. An episodic series that tracks different times and places, it weaves the trials of unfortunate women who suffer nothing less than hellish tickling torture at the hands of the most ingeniously perverse minds to ever grace the illustrated page. The issues are unfortunately very short (5 pages), but the sheer density of the action inside shows that big things come in small packages. WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT.
WE KNOW YOUR WEAKNESS
E-Zine ("the same")
Veteran scribe Jason Rubis splices Raymond Chandler and Mickey Spillane together in a serial magazine that stands out above all other versions of tickling noir. The Circle is a centuries-old Shadow power that rules the globe with a velvet glove in some very sensitive places; dedicated entirely to the most depraved levels of tickling, they frequently take to the streets for nubile women to add to their collection of victims. Rubis creates his own mythos with the series which involves a recurring cast of characters who constantly attempt to thwart each other. The quality of the stories vary from moderate "Echo Effect" to the exceptional "Ancient Knowledge", but despite a few creative slips, this publication delivers.
CORRECTIVE MEASURES
E-comic
ShanE is unstoppable. The Marquis de Sade of Knismolagnia ("Pure Torture") delivers again in a hilariously stunning stand-alone comic about an ominous rehabilitation insitution that specializes in curing spoiled girls of their bitchy behavior, courtesy of a nurse with a tickling fetish and a sadistic streak that could give Nurse Ratchet the willies. As usual, the comic is not as long as we'd like it to be, but what it lacks in length, it makes up for in strength. A MUST HAVE.
DEADLIER THAN THE MALE
E-Zine
FANS of FM REJOICE! The Dostoyevsky of tickling fiction, ShemthePenman, returns in a quarterly anthology that attacks the imbalance of */f-*/m material. Superior to rival publication "Make Him Laugh", these stories tap into the dark recesses of the female mind, dredging up a fearful sadism to which man pales by comparison. With the stroke of the pen and several long fingernails, Shem puts his trademark means of narrative description to the best possible use: the application of tickling madness to the ticklish. As with "Rijhana", after reading this zine, you won't know whether to pity the poor bastards involved or join them. So far, there are only two issues, but as Bill Watterson taught us with "Calvin & Hobbes", some things are worth the wait.
TALES FROM THE ASYLUM
YENNY THE TICKLISH GIRL
E-zine/E-comic
The flagship publications of MTJ are by this time retired from active life, but not from active purchasing. TFTA was the finest of tickling-specific publications, presenting the best stories and drawings from the most gifted minds of the tickling subculture for all the starving ticklephiles to salivate on. Yenny, the hyperticklish Latina who never invests in chainmail (but should), and brainchild of the great Ozzy, graced the pages of TFTA and ultimately her own electronic and print publication. Ozzy's inimitable ability to merge Chuck Jones-style comedy with sexy-as-hell details makes this title a must see in SPITE of the horrific ordeals the sinister cartoonist has put to paper. Again, issues vary on quality depending on individual taste, but considering the subject at hand...screw taste, buy 'em all.
STIPPLEWITZ
E-comic
We never knew how indispensible a super-ticklish homicidal female elf was to our fetish until she was given to us. Filling the void left by the departures of Mandell and ShanE, Tomato_Dragon (formerly Swindows of TFTA) crafts the episodic adventures of Stipplewitz, an evil but sexy elf bent on world domination who is cursed with fatally ticklish skin and seeks the feather of Fah'n Rei to cure her. Aiding her in her quest is her red loyal toady Vin, standing in her way are the various traps set by her enemies, and at the end of the road are the Inferno Sisters: denizens of hell who await each one of her deaths with baited tongues. The mix of action and humor is deftly handled and accentuated by the lush colors and rich blacks of the artwork, not to mention the cruelty of the tickling, which...well, is better seen than read. The standout issue in this series is Underworld #1, a powerful tribute to the beautiful sadism that is tickling.
VELLICATRICES: UNLIMITED
E-Comic
For everyone who's ever wanted to see a mix of superheroines revisit the days of cold war serials and get tickled, you finally get what you've been waiting for. With tongue planted firmly in cheek, writing and artistic team FTKL and BZTickler bring an eclectic menagerie of very hot and superticklish female heroes and villains, give them funny names based on variations of words synonymous with "tickle" and throws them into an Indiana Jones' style quest for a set of rings with the power of the tickling goddesses in what could be re-named "The League of Extraordinarily Ticklish Heroines". Say what you want about camp fiction and the cliches within, but there is no shortage of fun with this storyline, and there is no denying that FTKL can wield a pencil the way Anglo-Saxon kings of legends used to wield mystical swords given out by strange women lying in ponds...which, by the way, is no means for a system of government. In short, for fans of F/F foot and occasional upperbody torment, this...is...the...thing...for..you.
PHEW! Well, that's all for now. If I get my hands on anything else, I'll get it posted so that you may find the right purchases for you.
