The Bitch About The Weather Thread

Tomorrow is supposed to be the worst of the heat. Actual high temps 100 F or close, with heat index much higher.
 
Even at one am, the temp is still 80 Degrees F, and it is very hot.

The heat wave that NYC is having is horrible.
 
It is STILL terribly hot and humid in NYC today.

Standing in the subway stations waiting for subways is literally unbearable.
 
Today is very hot and humid in NYC.

We are supposed to have heavy thunderstorms later this afternoon.
 
While food shopping today, I got caught in the middle of a terrible downpour.

Drenching rain, but thankfully no lightning.
 
The forecast for NYC is saying that we are supposed to have heavy rain and thunderstorms most every day this week, until the weekend, with the exception of during the day tomorrow.

On the subject of the actual current weather.

Today was a very warm and humid day in NYC.

Heavy rain and storms are supposed to begin tonight, and continue all day tomorrow.

www.weather.com. says that one inch or more of rain is forecast to fall.
 
I took a walk outside to do chores this morning.

It is warm, humid, and sticky.
