1- Dodgers get home field advantage.
2- Kershaw wins game one, in Dodger Stadium, Friday, October 9th.
3- Greinke wins game two, in Dodger Stadium, Saturday, October 10th.
4- The Mets bullpen implodes, and the Dodgers win game three, 12-3, completing the sweep, on Monday October 12th, with me present in CitiField.
5- I get home alive despite being surrounded by Mets fans while wearing my Dodger jacket and Dodger cap.
#5 is particularly IMPORTANT.
I would prefer to put it this way: I dream BIG. 😀

Sadly, that is true. I find myself staying in what I call "islands of civilized BEHAVIOR."^Yes, and it is very hard to stay positive with the state of the world in which we live IN.
I wish there were an actual island like that, and I would choose it as my retirement home.
I am sorry to say that is true here also. A prime example is the neighborhood near the largest Barnes & Noble bookstore in the world (near the corner of Fifth Avenue and 17th Street). It is barely safe to walk there in broad daylight NOW. 🙁
Indeed so, my friend. 🙁 Once you are inside that huge, three-story bookstore, however, it is a civilized ISLAND. 😀
