That must have been impressive, as befits his service to the community.It wasn't too taxing. He got a great funeral and honors as befitting a fire chief.

That was very civic minded of him, to volunteer his expertise to his new home town.Yeah. He was a fire chief over in NJ originally. Then moved over here,and still was a volunteer fireman. There were some guys from his NJ station that came to the funeral.

More than the Biblical allotment, but not so old with modern medicine. 🙁We sure do. He was 74.
