I haven't even seen this movie yet but the soundtrack alone is beautiful enough to bring a tear to my eye. The other is a fantastic score from one of my favorite movies of all time!

The Bridge on The River Kwai, a British film from 1957 directed by David Lean starring Alec Guiness, William Holden, Jack Hawkins and Sessue Hayakawa.

The film is a work of fiction but borrows the construction of the Burma Railway in 1942–43 for its historical setting. The film was filmed in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). The bridge in the film was located near Kitulgala. From Wiki.

Mancini was a genius.

I won't call Arthur a great film, but the theme song by Christopher Cross is nice.
