That's certainly true! It was a wonderful opportunity to delve into info about the characters' biographies that you don't always get an opportunity to explore in the comics proper.

On that subject, if anyone's interested, Lexi's best friend Lydia's full name is Lydia Evangeline St. James Dibble.

Spotlight on: LEXI (Part 1 of 2)

Lexi Introduction by Colin

Meet Lexi...

She’s a brilliant, extremely cute college student. Lexi could be a great scientist if she concentrated on her work a little more. Unfortunately, all she thinks about is capturing people who have caught her fancy and tickle-torturing them until they lose their minds.

Which would be fine, if she weren’t so accident-prone. And so ticklish herself.

Lexi makes her debut on May 2nd, 2007, with this promo piece illustrated by Tomato Dragon and written by Colin.



Above is the cover for the Second issue of Lexi released on December, 3rd, 2007. This would be the last issue in the series illustrated by the one and only Tomato Dragon.



After Tomato Dragon launched Paw Feather Publishing and with his desire to continue supporting his “TATS” McCree comic series at MTJ Publishing it became necessary to temporary shelve Lexi until we could find a new artist for the series and that artist would certainly have some large shoes to fill.

Late in 2008 Tomato Dragon put us in contact with a new artist. This talented artist’s name is DarkJak and after one look at her work Colin pointed out that she would be perfect for Lexi.

Lexi in THE GREAT TICKLE TRAP!

As a team we decided early on that while we wanted Rocio Zucchi to capture the essence of the iconic characters that would be featured in The Great Tickle Trap. We also wanted her to be free to infuse them with her own vision.

The Great Tickle Trap is very much a Work in Progress and I anticipate that it might very well take us to the end of the year.

My advice is to enjoy the release in it's serial format.
