The wind rushes through my still-damp hair as I take in the scents of the fresh late spring country air. When I open my eyes, I see a bright blue sky with streaks of white clouds, giving it a marbled look. When I look ahead, I see a blur of green on either side of the asphalt and a quickly approaching faded red stop sign. I stop at the end of the road and get off my bike.
I step off to the side of the road and just walk my bike back home, the cool, soft green grass tickling my bare feet as I do so. I take out my earbuds and turn off my music as I take in the simple sounds of nature.
