ですよ is Japanese, written in hiragana script. In roman letters it would read desu-yo. Desu is the verb "to be." If you add a -yo on the end, it means that you are informing someone, or speaking from a position of certainty.
Example:
watashi wa kakkoii desu--"I am cool."
watashi wa kakkoii desu-yo--"Hell yeah, I'm cool."
