... this is yet another thrilling chapter to save on my hard drive. Yet again it is filled with all kind of awesome visuals; of which the moon transforming into the Little Big Head's face, and the scene matching the forest with the sun above, struck me the most, as it clearly shows your knowledge of cinematographic techniques. This is a transition one would expect in an animated feature film. But then again, I recall you have some experience with tv-broadcasting (from your spectacles of doom series) so your animation-like storytelling style is not that hard to explain. 🙂
Thanks once again for such voluminous praise, Scav! It's always greatest cause for excitement when I see you've responded!
I deeply appreciate your kind words about the artwork! It's most gratifying that you note the attempts at cinematic fluidity and transition! I've always loved movies... at one time I seriously considered cinema as a career path. I've made a small handful of Super-8 films, a format now long abandoned; and, as you rightly remember, partook in some public-access TV. Videotape's on it's way out too... every format I become involved with seems to go belly-up (watch out internet!) The thing I like best about graphic art presentation is the large measure of control: one isn't dependent on actors, production equipment or the vagaries of weather; as long as an artist has the personal where-with-all to do the job, there's nothing he can imagine that he can't produce. The TTC bursts with examples that prove this point!
I had to check back to the earlier chapter to refresh my memory about the tickling demon/deity in the dreamscape... it's a while ago (and your series has become epicly big). A very unusual "friend" Mercy has found... I'm curious how this will develop, more so since the LBH himself is returning to the scene (haven't seen him for a while).
Yeah, I really do need to get Little Big Head back into the story! He's a main player, though you'd never know it by his recent lack of participation! The pink astral entity (I don't have a name for him yet... that'll have to change as he becomes more fully involved) was initially slated for only the single chapter. His design grew on me, though, something that happens often... one-shot or even background characters frequently use their appearances as auditions. Sorry he proved hard to find! I know how tangled things have gotten... if I'd been smart, I'd have seen to it all chapters ended up in a single thread, as Bandito's done with
TIS.
The whole armor scene was something I really enjoyed, especially the visuals (I totally love uneartly gooey substances combined with fetish scenes). I wonder how Mercy's going to talk herself out of this, being stuck back in reality while still wearing the armour. Is it even possible to remove it?
Very happy to hear that the "engulfing" scene worked so well for you; you are, in fact, justly famed for your gloriously form-fitting, webby restraint cocoons, so you thoroughly know whereof you speak! Mercy's current dilemma will ultimately serve to illustrate the properties of Dreamtime matter in the temporal world: good as well as bad... your speculation about removing it is prescient, as you'll see!
At the same time, Fiona Feare has a hidden agenda. It has to be... Somehow I'm getting the feeling Angie's going to be in much deeper trouble than she could imagine...
Not that I'm complaining as a viewer, of course; if this means more ticklish action, then all the better!! :super_hap
Angie is indeed a bit at sea; at present, her freshly-awakened hunger for tickling has tied her to a situation in which she has little control and no real inkling of what the future will hold. Unlike Mercy, she's not terribly assertive... she's far more apt to be led by a strong personality, like the rabidly committed Fiona. It's most pleasing to me that Fiona comes across as a potential threat... I had hoped that her vagueness (coupled with the sensual attractions she purveys) would prove disquieting. Angie is, in fact, tripping through chancy territory; a very real crisis will be heading her way, and whether or not her "training" prepares her for it is yet to be seen. In the meantime, it serves as a ready excuse for fetish thrills!
Thank you very much for creating yet another great chapter of your series and sharing it with us! 🙂 🙂
My profoundest thanks to you, Scav! It's one of the nicest pleasures of this site that we're all able to share thoughts with an artist of your unique inventiveness and unparalleled skill! I'm most honored that you've always been so generous and specific with your compliments!
Howdid I ever miss this?!?!
I am intrigued by what is happening with Mercy now. Going into battle no doubt. The pink elephant as an inconsequential god? That revered part, played by numerous ethereal creatures which later are become demons if they so desire? My goodness. I am intrigued.
Machiavelle is there! If not for a moment. I am so loving your interpretation of her Littlebighead. You got her down right to the scar, and the tail. Although the scar never glowed, I don't argue with the addition of the azure glow. I think I will make that part of her physique! Thank you Littlebighead.
I still don't know how I missed this.
"Pink elephant!" Man, I like that! I'd never thought about him that way before (seems impossible because of the trunk)... now I won't be able to think about him any
other way!
The brain-worm invasion has commenced!
My pleasure indeed to be allowed to sketch your lady Machiavelle, J! Once again, thanks so much for your permission! She has a wonderfully clean design, blessed with unmistakable distinctiveness! I'm rather relieved you approve of the "glow"... my initial attempts at the scar appeared rather stark, so I improvised a bit until I had something that blended in better.
You're entirely right about battle-bound Mercy! She'll have lots or opportunity to try out her new protection, in both the dream sphere and the temporal one! Gods, demons, bogeys, spirit knights... the possibilities are legion, and I've barely begun to work them all out!
Oh my dear gawd this is so good.
I don't evenn know what to say it's that good.
The writing seems to have gotten even better than previous episodes, which seems impossible.... but somehow it has happened.
And I love love love love the belly button tickling and the entire scene in which it takes place.
So wonderful.
You, sir, are a master.
*humbly takes a knee*
B
Rats, Deet! You beat me to it! I wanted to take a knee to you first! How better to honor one with so much spectacular accomplishment to his credit! Your recent TIS is a genuine phenomenon! I can't ever remember a thread glorying in so much ongoing well-deserved praise! And the hit count! Soon to reach 100K and who knows how high after that! The stratosphere is too low a bar by far!
I don't do near enough belly tickling (happily, torso fans have a supreme champion in you), and it's most pleasant to have my few attempts memorialized so graciously! Like Scav, I'll never stray far from the soles (my heart's delight!), but this serves as vivid reminder to neglect no sensitive area!
My grateful thanks for your kind praise, sir! You light up this thread with your unselfish generosity! Just as you do the TTC generally!
