How very kind of you, Eveline! What a very nice response! Very much appreciated, particularly your kind words about Mercy. I'm quite fond of her, but it's difficult to know how much of that is justified and how much is simply daddy-ish, Pygmalion pride. Such validation is extremely comforting and rewarding! Thank you!

Thanks for the interest, Mr. Danger! I've entirely completed the script for chapter 4, and am in the midst of thumbnail sketches now. This phase won't take long (my preliminary sketches are never very detailed... primarily, they're just preparation for working in the dialogue fonts), and I'll most likely be starting line artwork this weekend. That's the most arduous part of the process, often taking a month or two to complete. I've got a good jump on it this time... I'm hoping to have the story ready for mid-to-late March. That's barring unforseen difficulties... illness delayed this current chapter longer than I would have liked. Again, thanks for asking! I enjoy explaining the process!
