Thank you, DEV! You're right, I'd probably have done this story even without an audience, but sharing it certainly gives it a purpose and makes it a dozen times more meaningful to me than it would have been!

About bogeys: I have dropped hints concerning their nature, but it's been in a scattered, coy way (my approach for keeping them remote and mysterious! ), with much of the evidence not yet presented. It's perfectly natural, then, that people should have questions. In short, bogeys are human beings who have abandoned their souls and any hope of eternity for mortal, tactile pleasure (localized as tickling contact in this series). Since their bodies now must last as long as the world lasts (bogeys are no longer able to die), they've become changed and toughened, often monsterous. A bogey's body will tend to reflect the state of its owner's mind. Mud Sally, a death-lover, has assumed a corpse-like apperance. The Spinster was a husbandless spinster before her change; her form became that of a spider by way of analogy. I haven't worked out every detail for bogey culture yet, and information will be added as I go. These are the essentials, though. Thanks for asking! I've enjoyed crystalizing my thoughts on this matter!

Low Roads - Although I'm little more than a lurker on this forum, I must say that I have enjoyed your tail since its inception some many months ago. Mercy Mew is quite a compelling character (and a delicious tickle victim) and the world she inhabits is utterly fascinating.

The style of the artwork and the accompanying dialogue (and dialect, for that matter) are a perfect match. The quaint lingua franca of the characters adds to the overall charm of the pieces. You've done more than simply create a fetish cartoon, you've created an entire world in which tickling (thankfully mostly that of the /f variety) seems to be an integral part of the larger culture, especially where the mysterious bogeys are concerned. Yours is a world I'd like to visit. I'll have to see my local travel agent on that score.

Until then, kudos on the latest installment. One can only hope that the tables will one day be turned on the lovely Sparrow Hall. I'd quite enjoy seeing Mercy (or in this case, 'Merciless'?) giving her the once over.

Oh, and I simply had to add that the part where Mercy breaks down under the brushes and in a roundabout way admits that she (as a voluptuary) 'swoons under the raw sensations' and finds it fun was most gratifying. It was topped only by Little Bighead's unheard admonition for the girl to, "Feel the tingling distress...Embrace it...come to understand that the agony is not your terror but your glory!"

As any 'ler will tell you, there is nothing more exciting than finding a 'lee who on some level enjoys her plight, and you've hit that right on the head. Bravo, Maestro!

Gods, ain't it the truth! These comix stories eat up so much time and effort! Makes me want to take up pursuits easier and more rewarding, like training wild tigers! (... right. There's nothing more rewarding than working on our comix! You know that far better than me!)

I can't think of anything nicer! And so extensively, in such eloquent language! I couldn't be more grateful! Tell you what, if your travel agent can arrange the Tabor trip, let me know! Sparrow Hall... I'm most pleased you mentioned her! You're the first! And I plan to have great fun with this character! Indeed, she'll have her own back-up adventure... toying with bogeys for the sake of her column! Don't be surprised if she winds up at the end of a business end of feather very soon!

I'm delighted you like the patois! Though I have gotten complaints... the language can become a bit rich sometimes (stretching a metaphor too far is one of my bad habits). Still, it can set place and provide verisimilitude like nothing else! And it's so much fun to write!

I'll be starting the script for chapter 7 almost immediately. The response to each submission has had its own distinctive flavor (I've been very fortunate... folks here and at the TTC have been unfailingly generous with their compliments!)... you've made this one particularly yummy for me!

Hi again, Lucius of Music! I'm working on your mechanical bogey (the one you asked about last time)... that's the direction Barnaby Klack is heading! I don't do requests , per se, (not for stand-alone fan art pictures), but I actively encourage suggestions concerning elements in the Low Roads. Necro-tickling, nylons, */M (of which there's admittedly been very little, but do plan one extensive scene for later on)... none of these would have appeared in the series without member recommendations. I'm most grateful for this type of input... it really broadens the Low Roads' scope!
