Go Yankees, Go Mets (until they meet the Yanks!)

NEW YORK LEFT FIELDER CLIFF FLOYD LEFT THE GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE THIRD INNING DUE TO A STRETCHED LEFT ACHILLES.
Congratulations to the New York Mets as we wait to play either St.Louis or San Diego. I hope they play 20 innings in game four and the Padres win and that they play 25 innings in game 5 on Monday. 😛
I saw every pitch too. It is more to push the noses of Yankees fans to be really honest.giantfan121262 said:No need to provide a summary, my friend. I saw every pitch, down to the last out to Shawn Green. What did you think of coopers strike zone? I thought it was a little tight at times, especially when the Dodgers got three runs in the 5th
You are too funny!!!unclebill said:Oops. I forgot to mention that he breaks down these games fast too.
Yeah, I am sure it is not an attack. Did Carpenter pitch better last night??? Yes, he did. Did he win??? No, he did not. Your other stat of 0 for 31 was 2 for 5 last night. What do I think the Mets chances are??? Better than the Cubs chances of advancing to the 2006 World Series. That is what I think. But then again, this coming from a man who has been saying the the Tigers are a mirage. Well that mirage is waiting to play the World Series while your team is just waiting. Not an attack??? Sure you're right!!!natural tickler said:Now, the fact that they have to win game 6 with the Cardinals ace on the mound, (now granted Carpenter did not pitch well in Game 2, but everyone knows he will no doubt pitch better this time around)
Now for the Mets to win game 6, it will have to be a battle of the bullpens, but then again, the opposition is 0-31 with RISP and 2 outs against the Cards this postseason
One question for you: when a pitcher is at his best, and is on, can he be beaten?? The reason I am asking is that if Carpenter is on tonight, what do you think the Mets chances are
Also to remember: Suppan pitched a hell of a game in game 3, he is the projected starter for game 7. it is a tall task for the Mets to win 2 back to back
on paper, the Cards are looking good right now. You might have an all-deck on hand scenario for the Mets these possible next two games
This is not an attack on the Mets, just stating facts
