I too may consider getting a Wii, but probably not before getting a PS3 at least (MGS4 FTW!). However, as stated in my last post, I do plan on at least buying a Gamecube so I can play TP. I could get it pretty cheap, and it does have some good games, right? 😛
Oh, and I just wanna mention that, after a nice online debate on the villains of FF last night, I've come to a conclusion. One that I should have come to a long time ago, but for some reason never realized. The villains of FF....aren't really all that great! I mean, I hear dozens of people say Sephiroth is the best FF villain, but in truth, does he really have THAT much competition? NO, not really.
The only villain to really have a chance of being considered better than Sephiroth is Kefka. The villains from the first three are mediocre (which is to be expected). Zeromus (VI) was typical. X-Death (V) was as well, though a bit more developed and less typical.
Kekfa (VI) was great, and really helped set the standard for all villains in the future (even Sephiroth was based off of him in several ways actually).
Sephiroth (VII) did the same thing, but looked "cool" and managed to be in the right game at the right time (long story short, FFVII was the first RPG for many, so that's part of why many really think him so highly...he was their first).
Ultimecia (VIII) was either really simple or really complicated (I prefer to believe the latter). She wasn't actually present for most of the game (or was she?), and when she was, it was through someone else. This however makes her less than stellar since nothing of her was ever explained in any way.
Kuja (IX) was great IMO, better than Sephiroth ever was. Unfortunately, he suffers from Trany Syndrome (is dressed very feminine), which makes me strongly believe that "he" should have definitely been a "she" (he would have been far more liked I think, and I'm guessing would've been VERY hot as well 😛).
The villains of FFX were just not that great at all. Seymore had plenty of potential, but fell very short (to becoming the "side villain" that you fight multiple times). Yu Yevon was pretty much just a single minded thing, acting on instinct alone it seems.
With all that being said, the only real villains of note in the FF series is Kefka, Sephiroth, and Kuja. So in the end we have three villains to choose from, and Kuja's Trany Symdrome prevents most from looking past the exterior. This only proves that, like everything else, that the FF series is certainly not without it's flaws, despite how legendary it is. But I could go on about this for a good while, so best to stop now before I get started. Just giving my two cents.
