Wow, that's the difference between east coast and Gulf coast. Sun didn't go down here (Texas Gulf) until 8-8:15 p.m. Still hot and sticky out too.

Has anyone out there looked into the night sky and observed Mars? It's the closets it's been to Earth in hundreds of years and will be again for hundreds of years. Particularly look for it right next to the moon on 26 and 27 August.

I just watched a great old movie called "The Greek Tycoon", starring the late Anthony Quinn, and Jacqueline Bisset, about a semi fictionalized version of the relationship between Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and Aristotle Onassis. I enjoyed it. As I was watching it, it struck me that all of the real life people portrayed in the movie, as well as the majority of the primary actors, with the exception of Jacqueline Bisset, have passed away.
