XP is very good. My friend uses Linux its very stable but difficult to setup I hear. 😀 😀 😛
 
Very difficult to set up and to upgrade. But at work all of that is done for us by members of the Computer Science Department. 😀 😛

Awwwwww thanks but I am mainly stuck with Windows since most 3d and art software is set up for that OS. 😀 😀 😛
 
Yes, I can see that it would be a big waste of time to adapt it all to Linux now. 😀 😛
 
They claim that's true, in part because not enough people use it to make it worth crooks' time to try to penetrate it. It's also inherently more secure because of the way it handles emails, I'm told. 😀 😛
 
The first reason is the one I was told of, had not heard of the second one. 😀 😀 😛
 
I don't understand the details, but they quarantine emails and don't let them execute anything until they've been verified as safe. 😀 😛

It's only as effective as the verification process, but it's better than reading emails via Windows. 😀 😛
