I sure do I use to to paint the main color,say olive drab.on the kit To paint the details,like tools,machine guns,and tracks,I use a brush

There are many types of air brushes out there Some are priced good,others are expensive It depends upon what kind you are looking for 😀 😛

They always looked like fun but seemed a bit pricey. 😀 😀 😛

Don't see why not Just make sure the thinner to paint ratio is correct What I love most about that series of airbrush is,if the nozzle clogs up,just insert a piece of picture hanging wire into the nozzle I have had mine for several years 😀 😛

Sounds great. Sometimes when things get too fancy they tend to break to easily as well.

Their are some acryllics that actually change color depending on how light strikes them or ones that have a lot of metal flake in them to give then a very unique shine. 😀 😀 😛

Cool 😀

If you do get one,do practice paint jobs first to get a feel for the spray pattern and the paint to thinner ratio

For the paints you would use is very^999999999 different from the stuff I use I spray flat acrylics They shoot differently as well as use less thinner 😀 😛

Yes metallics and iridescents tend to contain a lot more particles and thus its probably easier for them to clog. Those paints tend to be more expensive as well so you dont want to waste them either. 😀 😀 😛 I even have a few glow in the dark paints too. 😀

If I have to spray gloss,I use a spray can I also spray gloss in what's called "tack coats" They are real thin coats The problem with spraying gloss is that it runs real easy if you try to get one full coat of paint on it 😀 😛

Spray cans are good for that. 😀 For the fancier acrylics though you cant find spray cans though. 😀 😛
 
Yea the fancy ones can be tricky to apply. Some motorbike shops use them a lot. Especially the paints that have lots of fleck in it. 😀 😀 😛
