The GW bridge makes no sense to me I can see the traffic jam going into the city You got the toll booths to deal with But when going from the city to NJ,there is no toll booths But yet you got stopped traffic going across that bridge

As soon as you get into NJ,the traffic speeds up😕

Historical note: When I was a kid, they collected tolls in both directions, but it was only 50 cents each way. Now they collect tolls only going into the city, but it's $8. 😱

I am thankful my company has that EZ Pass for the tolls in the northeast At one time it was $20 for a five axle truck to cross the GW bridge I heard it's $40 now

It is used by high officials in the Port Authority for junkets to the Bahamas in the winter where they spend it on five star hotels, old whiskey, and young prostitutes.

You see, they must attend "conferences" about how to be a transportation official. It's just that these "conferences" are generally held in the winter on a Caribbean island and guess what they really do there. I should have added that they hit the casinos there also.
