The satellite I believe was useful in locating potential black holes. As matter tends to pour into a black hole often the energy of such an event produces many X-rays. 😛

Yea that was part of the idea for the space shuttle and space station to be able to repair satellites more easily. The Hubble space telescope was repaired by the shuttle. 😀 😀 😛 😛
