I am trying to find out exactly what I would be fined for being unemplyed and single but the exact details are almost impossible to find. They say you are excused of the fines under "extreme hardship" but I know they mean you probably have to have no life savings as well. 🙁

Likely "extreme hardship" forces you to spend down your assets first and then ask for assistance from Big Brother (the government). That's the way it works in asking for Medicaid.
