A souped up M10 tank destroyer,and a VW pickup conversion. 😀 😛

Both should be fun for you to make. 😀 😛
The M10 will involve some scratch building. 😀 😛
I will be making some spaced armor for the hull and turret. The real M10 series had mounting areas for spaced armor, but it wasn't used for the most part. 😀 😛
Interesting. What is spaced armor? 🙂
The principal behind spaced armor was,the outer shell of armor would cause an armor piercing shell to explode early, before it got to the main armor. I doubt if spaced armor would have worked against the high velocity 75mm,or 88mm German tank guns.
The modern version of it is called reactive armor. It detonates anti tank missiles. 😀 😛
Thanks for the explanation my friend.
Sounds very interesting but I think you are right spaced armor would not work against more powerful guns. 😀
You're welcome my friend. The time frame I am putting the M10 in is,late 1942,early 1943.That was before a lot of German tanks had the more powerful guns. 😀 😛
You are certainly an expert on the history of tanks, Zod. 😀 😛
Cool.
Of course todays Armor Piercing stuff will slice through just about anything. 😀
General Zod is a Tank Expert in every sense of the word.
😀 😛
